Native to the venezuela and brazil these phil s are often confused with other philodendron s when they are juvenile. Leaves may have some blemishes. The contrasting green leaf surface and prominent veins look somewhat like the back bone of a dragon.
There are several color varieties including bright yellow hued aurea the blue gray glaucous and other variegated forms.
Water your philodendron green dragon when the top 3cm of soil are dry and group with other plants to raise the humidity around it. These are very easy to look after and are already a really good size and so shiny v ery similar to the philodendron fiddler fig or golden dragon some do have some slight variegation. 11 5cmthis is the non variegated version of the philodendron golden dragon also known as philodendron lime fiddle.
